Here are a few of the questions we get asked ALL the time and the answers to them...because we know you were wanting to ask them too! {By the way, keep coming back as we'll be updating with new questions and answers all the time!}
Can ice really help your skin?
Yes! Ice is an all around team player when it comes to great looking skin. Ice can help with inflammatory acne flare-ups, blemishes and can even help in the rejuvenation of your skin. In fact, look no further than your freezer to help with puffy eyes, and to help products sink into your skin even faster.
Ice is an easy addition to your routine. Once you've cleansed your face (check out our awesome facewashes here), ice for fifteen minutes by moving and lifting the ice cube every five seconds all around the face. The ice prepares your skin to absorb your skin care products even faster - helping to produce more peeling and thus more rapid clearing. A little trick we love is making ice cubes out of chamomile tea - as both the ice and the chamomile help calm inflammation.
If you've had extractions that day, up the time to 30 minutes to help promote clearing and to heal the inflammation.
If you are in the middle of peeling treatments, then we suggest using a soft cloth dipped in cold water to create a cold compress to place on the face to help with overall inflammation.
What is the difference between beyond complexion's BPO cleanser and other benzoyl peroxide products?
The Benzoyl beyond complexion uses is micronized - which means it is broken into very fine particles. This allows us to have a higher concentration without the irritation. When combined with exfoliating beads, you get a potent cleanser that penetrates pores quickly and more effectively than standard benzoyl peroxide products. This irritation-free scrub will gently remove bacteria, dirt, and dead cells to clear acne, fast.
Does the order of how you apply skin care products matter?
Yes. You should always go from thinnest to thickest after cleansing.

Is it worth it to buy expensive eye cream?
Yes! The price of the very good ingredients is high and that will increase the price of the product. Should you change skin care routine when the temps drop? If yes, then what updates need to be made?
Absolutely. There is less humidity and the weather is dryer in the winter, so the skin becomes more sensitive. Plus, heaters dehydrate the skin (ugh). It is normal to have flare ups, peeling skin and other issues because of these changes. If you are using beyond complexion's Mandelic Acid 5+ re-texturizing Pads twice a day, make a change to once a day. If you are using them once a day and they are still too drying, use them only three times a week. It is also very important to remember to always start the pads on the forehead, as it is the thickest and most stubborn skin on the face. Ultimately, you need to keep your skin extra moisturized. We suggest using beyond complexion's Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 30 more than twice a day if necessary.
